Indonesia has officially purchased the presidential plane. RI 1 aircraft of type Boeing Bussiness Jet 2 Green Aircraft will be arriving in the country in August 2013.
Presidential plane was purchased at a price of U.S. $ 91.2 million, or about Rp820 billion, as follows: U.S. $ 58.6 million for the airframe, U.S. $ 27 million for the interior cabin, U.S. $ 4.5 million for security systems, and U.S. $ 1.1 million for administrative costs.

BBJ2 Boeing has a length of about 39.5 meters, 35.8 meters wing length, tail height 12.5 meters and 3.73 meters in diameter. For the interior, this BBJ2 29.97 meters in length, with a height of 2.16 meters and 3.53 meters wide.
With a capacity of 39 539 liters of fuel, the aircraft can fly a maximum of 10 334 kilometers so far. But if the plane contains a maximum of 50 people, then the mileage reaches 8630 miles. Mileage that can be passed with a maximum speed of 871 kilometers per hour.
six tanks
Secretariat Office of the Secretary of State, Lambock V. Nahattands, stating the current Boeing factory was set up six fuel tanks to the fuselage so the aircraft can fly non-stop for 10-12 hours. Installation of tanks made by Pats Aircraft System, and is scheduled for completion in April 2012.
After installation of the sixth tank, continued Lambock, further work is to install the cabin interior and safety systems are carried out by the completion center.
