Man killed in Sri Lanka buried alive

A man in Sri Lanka have died while burying themselves. He seems obsessed with a local record as a man who could spend the longest time buried in the ground alive.
According to BBC news station, March 5, 2012, a man who died was named Janaka Basnayake ridiculous. The young 24-year staged a desperate last weekend in Kantale, a small town north of the capital Colombo.

According to local police, Janaka's ambition is supported by relatives and friends, which he buried a three-meter deep ditch. According to the Daily Mail, Janaka began to be buried on Saturday morning at 09.30. However, at 4 pm, when the grave overhauled, he was unconscious. When taken to the hospital, Janaka was pronounced dead.

Local doctors are still investigating the exact cause of death of Janaka, whether he is shortness of breath or any other cause. Police also have not determined whether any party should be responsible for the death of Janaka.

This tragedy shocked the relatives. The reason, they claimed to see Janaka had twice buried alive - each for two and a half hours and six hours - and do not have fatal consequences.
Local authorities can only advised residents not to repeat the reckless action of Janaka. Police revealed that Janaka had served as a member of the Civil Defence Forces, the police unit fighting the Tamil rebels.
