These stunning Videos captured by a NASA satellite that shows a giant tornado moved across the sun. In fact,this tornado bigger than it looks, because of its size may be larger than the Earth, and towering hundreds of thousands of kilometers into space.And while looks magnificent on the surface of the sun, the tornado was moving with incredible speed, reaching 300,000 miles per hour (480 000 km / h).
Incredible phenomena that can not be fully explained by the scientists was filmed by the satellite Solar Dynamics Observatory, NASA for 30 hours at the beginning of this month.
The satellite, known as SDO is in a five-year mission to monitor how solar activity can affect Earth, especially the sun's magnetic field changes.
Although tornadoes are called "solar prominence" by the scientists look very similar to a tornado that occurred on Earth, its origins are completely different.
Because tornadoes are not the result of atmospheric pressure, but come the sun's magnetic field fluctuations.
Known, the temperature of the Tornado is located at 15,000 degrees Fahrenheit (8,000 Celsius), or much cooler than the sun's surface which has a temperature of about 2 million degrees Fahrenheit.
