MMI went to Police Headquarters in Jalan Trunojoyo Indonesia, South Jakarta, Thursday (09/05/2013). They requested that the National Police revoke the operating license of Miss World 2013, which is currently being held in Bali quarantine process.
"We want to convey to the Chief of Police, as the institution responsible for the permission of Miss World 2013 contest, so pleased to revoke the operating license," said Chairman Abdullah Greater Jakarta branch of the Majelis Mujahidin Ricko when it comes to Police Headquarters.
He claims, at least there are 60 Islamic organizations that reject the implementation of the universal beauty pageant. If the contest is still held, he claimed to fear it would provoke anger Islamic organizations refused.
"To this day, nearly 60 Islamic organizations that have been formally rejected. Means, if this is ignored, this is considered harassment. Finally, this morning, Muhammadiyah and NU official also said refuse," he said.
