Statue of Sir Alex Ferguson at Old Trafford was inaugurated, Friday, November 23, 2012. A number of former foster children 70 years old coach came to witness the unveiling of the statue.

"This proud moment. I had a fabulous trip with the club. I coached many great players, and because of them I could be like this. Club should build a statue of all the players," Ferguson said in his speech.
"They are fantastic players, and I feel honored to coach great players used since 1986 until now. They gave me satisfaction," he continued, as reported by ESPN.
Former Ferguson farm, such as Eric Cantona, Andy Cole, Denis Irwin, Gary and Phil Neville, Bryan Robson, Peter Schmeichel, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Ruud van Nistelrooy, Edwin van der Sar and Dwight Yorke, attended the inauguration of the statue. While Cristiano Ronaldo and David Beckham record congratulations to Ferguson.
"Usually people die first before the statue was built. I live longer than death," said Ferguson.
